okay, soooo....
j and i are moving into my grandparents old bedroom in our house, and upon removing the carpet, found that the closet floor had been a big peeing spot for our two cats...over a YEAR ago. old wood floor, now soaked through with cat pee.
here's what i've tried:
*apple cider vinegar & water
*lysol floor cleaner & water
*oxyclean & water
*boxes of baking soda and cut lemons left on the floor.
here's what i have currently:
*a newly unfinished closet floor (oxyclean and scrubbing stripped the finish)
*a stinky bedroom & closet
anyone have ANY ideas?? i don't much care right now about the finish on the floor, or the stains. i just want the smell gone. we don't have many closets here, so we kinda have to use all of them, and i can't store clothes or anything in there. it's VERY smelly.
